CLARITY POINTE SENIOR LIVING
In 2010, Tom and his father, Tom Sr, formed Clarity Pointe Senior Living Company (www.claritypointe.com). Clarity Pointe was designed to be a nationally recognized Alzheimer’s and Memory Care Assisted Living facility that would elevate the quality of life of those residents and families struggling with the disease. Since 2010, there have been eight Clarity Pointe’s built in the southeast totaling $115,000,000 in development. Tom was head of development and oversaw all aspects of these projects, from acquisition, financing, construction and day to day operations. Clarity Pointe partnered with LCS, (www.lcsnet.com) to handle the daily operations. LCS is considered to be one of the best providers of care for seniors in the United States.
RETAIL DEVELOPMENT
As Vice President of Holrob Investments in Knoxville, Tennessee (www.holrob.com), Tom helped the company grow to one of the largest retail developers in East Tennessee with over 1,000,000 square feet under management and leasing.

He then went on to found Southern Commercial Real Estate Company (www.southerncommercial.com) which partnered with Holrob for the next five years developing over 300,000 square feet of retail shopping centers in Knoxville and Nashville, Tennessee. Southern Commercial was sold in 2011 but continues to develop, manage and lease commercial properties in East Tennessee
THE RETREAT AT CAROLINA PARK
Pointe Development is part of a team to build this 80 unit Memory Care and Assisted Living facility as well as 220 active adult apartments within the 45+ acre Carolina Park development in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This facility will feature picturesque landscaping and resort-style amenities to provide the highest level of care to its clients. These state-of-the-art facilities will incorporate an infinity track, gourmet meals, and a rooftop sitting area complete with scenic views of the Low Country.
